We often turn to classic architecture during our design process. For this wedding, we wanted to introduce a new kind of escort table. We suspended place cards from the ceiling and chose to use a Gothic arch as our overall shape. This form provided more height and added a touch of elegance as the cards cascaded down each side.
How would you make the escort table a more fun experience?

I agree Mr. Bailey, the place card table can use a little lift and I love this idea of making an arch out of them. I’ve even used puzzle pieces with the guests name and table written on them and then when the table was seated they put their puzzle pieces together for an interactive experience that was beautiful pictures of the couples dogs who couldn’t be at the wedding but were a huge part of their lives.

LOVE IT!!!! I love this idea for the escort table. The escort table is one of those pieces in design & planning where you can really showcase something different and unique! I also love the wishing tree ideas. Thanks for the post Preston, gorgeous photos as always!

Me encanta! Esa misma idea aplicada a arcos de estilo árabe puede quedar genial..
