Vote for Your Favorite Photo Installation

Happy Halloween!

We hope you’re having a festive day with lots and lots of Halloween candy. We also hope you’ll help us with a new design challenge this week… as we’re pretty excited about this one.

A client is throwing herself a lavish 60th birthday party, and she wants to display some cherished family pictures in an over-sized photo installation. We’ve come up with five installation designs, but we want to know which one you like best.

Please vote for your favorite!

Option #1. Have the most memorable pictures pop out!

    or

Option #4. It is simple and stunning at the same time. If you have 5 really good photos I would use this option. Sometimes less is more. I know personally If its a really good photo I can look at it for hours. A good photo allows for the artist to convey a message and for the one viewing it to let their imagination to do the rest of the work. Option 5 is almost like walking through a life size timeline of events of the honoree’s life. It might be cool to have people stationed along the pics. For example if she was quilting in one of the pics I would have someone handing out mini quilt favors. Its almost like they have a piece of that wonderful moment in their hand. Make the pictures come alive!

Im not so sure I understand option 5. Where would the pics go? Would they be shaped like the flower petals. Would that symbolize the love thats grows from the family? Descriptions lines underneath the photos would be great!

Love all your work! You inspire me!

#2 is Boring and expected. #4 is would be my choice, it would feel like an art gallery.

Option 4 would give the best impact I think. All the other frames already look like any other photo frame. :)
