Should do a hybrid of 1 and 3. Make the top flowers shaped into a ball and have them sit on flat high top gate. Have the vertical garland of flowers run down the long pillars or gate with contrasting color. Mix some pearls or crystals or perhaps some white lights if it stays until the night time. Grand and dramatic with a hint of sophistication
