Mid-Century Inspired Dance Floor Design

On Monday, we told you that Preston and his team were designing a Mid-Century inspired after party for a festive bride! We gave you choices for stage designs, and you voted in favor of option #5. Today we have options for a dance floor. Which one do you think would go best with the winner from Monday?

Seriously? For a dance floor cover? These are ugly. If you consider these will be blown up large and put on a floor they will look hideous. You are not an expert at everything and you should call in a professional dance floor designer to come up with something a little more appealing.

Everyone has their personal choice. I see the #5 as inlay tile design and for me to use such pattern for the dance floor and placing light underneath would be stunning further complimenting the above chosen design. #2 and #4 look like a weaving textured fabric design. #3 reminds me of the folf art and #1 is wild and not sophisticated. In the end, we as designers are projecting the client’s vision on a visible canvas that all guests can experience.

Not really a fan of any of them, but then again I didn’t see the mid century inspiration in stage 5 either. Hmm

Mid Century? And what century might that be? You are all over the place with some really ugly designs. Shocking!

I would never blow this design as it is, unless it is redone again by a graphic designer and would try adding different effects. It is good to hear different perspective. Let’s wait for the final design.
